We are avidly seeking to fill several Quality Control Representative (QCR) positions to work in our corporate call center located in Poway, CA. Candidates for this position would be assisting product developers in the online gaming industry by offering robust regression testing, asset verification, mechanics analysis, and other essential quality control processes. The QCR participates in fundamental testing phases of an online gaming product from pre-production stages to live operations maintenance/update verification procedures. Quality Control Representatives guide and uphold the standard of an online game working hand-in-hand with product development to ensure a high standard of product quality is delivered to the customer
-One+ years experience in a Quality Assurance role.
-Strong gaming background (PC and online gaming platforms preferred).
-Strong analytical and communication skills.
-Typing speed of 600 errorless words over a 10 minute period.
-General competency and proficiency in PC software applications.
-High School Diploma or equivalent.
-At least 18 years of age.
Requirements:
-The ability to work a flexible work schedule including weekends.
-Ability to succeed in a fast paced, team-oriented support center environment.
-High School diploma or equivalent.
-Strong broad computer knowledge including use of MS Office, Word, Excel, and Project.
-Must be able to communicate effectively through online support mediums such as live chat and e-mail.
Position Recommendations:
-Platform Certification experience including G4W, Sony and Microsoft.
-Experience with Massively Multi-Player Online Games.
-Knowledge of various QA practices and test styles.
-Programming / Scripting experience.
-Previous quality assurance leadership role.
